This is my story...

I'm a Toronto based Product Designer with over 15 years of experience in the Fashion world making the transition into the Digital space. I have found a lot of similarities across both fields, especially that, although the design is crucial, crafting the perfect fit for the customer is even more important. Through my years in design, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my UX skills without even knowing it. User research in the form of customer communication and sales analysis, persona and user journey building through target market examination, competitor analysis, and ultimately, always keeping the customer in mind when designing a product aiming to create the perfect fit. My inquisitive mind and passion to talk to others always has me asking questions and wanting to know why it is that people do the things they do.  

My true love, other than all things design, is teaching. The ability to help mold and shape the next generation is something that has always inspired me. Not only does it allow me to share my knowledge with others, I too learn and grow so much by teaching. Having to explain my process to others helps me thoroughly examine what I do and the reasons behind it. On top of that, I love hearing fresh new thoughts and ideas come from discovering minds.

As a father of two, I get the chance to do my favorite things a lot, which are cooking, baking and sharing my knowledge with others. It’s the one job I wouldn’t trade for anything.
